Why the professional coach training and Intelligence of Self® ?
The course is based on the Intelligence of Self® (IDS®), an approach that combines two models:
- Carl Jung’s cognitive processes described in his Theory of Types.
- The Inner Dialogue, elaborated by Hal and Sidra Stone.
This course integrates all the pedagogical contents that are required by the EMCC in the framework of its EIA accreditation.
The objectives of the training course:
- To learn Professional Coaching
- To improve one’s coaching stance by mastering the Intelligence of Self® and Intelligence of We® approaches.
- To learn the ways of coaching and all its elements; coaching stance, process and tools.
To whom is this training designed for?
- Consultants
- Human Resources professionals
- Any person who wishes to become a professional coach
Pre-requisites :
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or several years of HR experience.
- Previous typological qualification (CCTI®, TypeCoach, MBTI®)
- An interview with the Academy’s managers together with a CV and cover letter application.
Duration and terms of the training course
The training course is composed of two cycles:
FIRST CYCLE – FUNDAMENTALS
20 days spread out over 6 modules (5D + 5x 3D) i.e. 145 hours (oral assessment included).
In attendance (92 or 27) (oral assessment included)
SECOND CYCLE – APPLICATION: Interpersonal relations and the collective dimension
18 days spread out in 6 modules of 3 days each i.e. 129 hours (oral assessment included).
In attendance (92 or 27).
Personal work during the intersession periods (around 6 weeks between each module): at least one coaching interview, the writing of a paper on professional practice and a professionalisation report.
Certification
At the end of the second cycle:
- Master IDS® coach Certification delivered by Osiris at the end of the oral and written assessment.
- Easy access to the EIA accreditation, delivered by the EMCC EIA- the accreditation of France’s EMCC coaches/mentors.
